General
1. The Licence holder shall ensure that the event is run in accordance with the most up to date Event Management Plan.
2. All carnival crew, stewards and security staff shall be trained to ensure they are aware of the premises licence and the requirements to meet the four licensing objectives with particular attention to:
· No selling of alcohol to underage people
· No drunk and disorderly behaviour in the premises area
· Vigilance in preventing the use of illegal drugs at the event
· No violent and antisocial behaviour
· No harm to children
3. The Licence holder shall ensure that an incident log is kept and all incidents are logged.
The prevention of crime and disorder
1. The Licence holder shall have trained stewards and also security staff on site throughout the weekend event.
2. The Licence holder shall ensure that no bottles, drugs or offensive items are allowed onsite and that clear signage is displayed in regards to these rules.
3. Trained security staff shall carry out searches and bag checks.
Public safety
1. The event will be run in accordance with the safety provisions contained within an event management plan.
2. The event management plan will detail how the event will be managed.
3. The event management plan will contain the significant findings of the risk assessments carried out for the event.
4. The event management plan will be sent to the Food and Safety Team at East Suffolk Council at least 28 before the event .
5. Any changes to the event management plan that are made within 28 days of the event must be brought to the attention of the Food and Safety Team at East Suffolk Council.
6. The Licence holder shall ensure that a named safety and deputy officer is on duty for the whole of the weekend event.
7. The Licence holder shall ensure that the site is fenced to prevent overspill near the river.
The prevention of public nusiance
1. Security staff/stewards shall monitor the site throughout the whole weekend and following the end of the event a sweep of the site shall take place.
2. The licence holder shall display clear and legible notices requesting patrons to respect nearby residents and leave the premises quietly.
3. The Licence holder shall ensure that litter picks shall be carried out throughout the event.
The protection of children from harm
1. The Licence holder shall ensure that all stewards/security staff are DBS checked.
2. The licence holder shall implement the 'Challenge 25' scheme, ensuring prominent signage is displayed throughout the premises.The Licence Holder shall ensure that any person selling or supplying alcohol at the premises, asks for photographic proof of ID document where they have reason to suspect that the individual may be under 25 years of age.
