1. Staff will be trained before making sales of alcohol in their responsibilities under the Licensing Act 2003. Refresher training will take place at six monthly intervals. All training records must be retained at the premises for each staff member employed and must be produced to a member of Suffolk Constabulary or an officer of the local authority immediately upon request.
2. A refusals register should be kept and maintained detailing EVERY refusal of the sale of alcohol made at the premises. Each entry must be signed and dated by the person making the entry and must be made as soon as practicable following the refusal. Each entry in the refusal log must be kept for a minimum period of 12 months from each entry and must be made available for inspection by a member of Suffolk Constabulary or an officer of the local authority upon request.
3. CCTV shall be maintained at the premises and must record to a storage system at all times that the venue is open to the public. Appropriate signage should be erected to comply with Data Protection Legislation.
4. The CCTV cameras must cover entry and egress points for the public and must be capable of showing facial recognition.
5. CCTV cameras will record footage at the point of sale and any tills as well as ALL alcohol displays currently in existence or subsequently installed in the shop.
6. CCTV footage must be retained for a period of at least 28 days and must be made available for viewing by a member of Suffolk Constabulary or an officer of the local authority in compliance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
7. CCTV footage must be made available in the form of a download or other digital retrieval system and must be supplied within seven days of request to a member of Suffolk Constabulary or an officer of the local authority and in compliance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
8. A person who is competent and capable of downloading CCTV for inspection as detailed above must be available to download when requested.
9. Any faults in the CCTV system must be recorded in a log and any fault rectified within 72 hours.
10. No single can sales of beer, cider or lager may be made at any time.
11. Any high strength beer, lager or cider above 6.5% that is identified by the police to the licence holder as being purchased and consumed by street drinkers will not be sold at any time.
