Annex 2 - Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule
General Conditions
Conditions imposed by JUSTICE ON-LICENCE - Licensing Act 1964, S 59, 60 and 63
1 Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
2 In this condition, permitted hours means:
On weekdays, other than Christmas Day, Good Friday or New Year’s Eve, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
b On Sundays, other than Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve, 12 noon to 10.30 p.m.
c. On Good Friday, 12 noon to 10.30 p.m.
d. On Christmas Day, 12 noon to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.
e. On New Year’s Eve, except on a Sunday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
f. On New Year’s Eve on a Sunday, 12 noon to 10.30 p.m.
On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31 December).
3. The above restrictions do not prohibit:
a. the consumption of alcohol on the premises during the first 20 minutes after the above hours;
b. the taking of the alcohol from the premises (unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel) during the first 20 minutes after the above hours;
c. the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there during the first 30 minutes after the above hours, if the alcohol was supplied for consumption ancillary to those meals;
d. the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by, or, the taking, sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises;
e. the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
f. the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
g. The sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces;
h. the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there; or
i. the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense, or the consumption of alcohol by persons so supplied; or
the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
4. No person under fourteen shall be in the bar of the licensed premises during the permitted hours unless one of the following applies:
a. He is the child of the holder of the premises licence.
b. He resides in the premises, but is not employed there.
c He is in the bar solely for the purpose of passing to or from some part of the premises which is not a bar and to or from which there is not other convenient means of access or egress.
d. The bar is in railway refreshment rooms or other premises constructed, fitted and intended to be used bona fide for any purpose to which the holding of the licence is ancillary.
In this condition “bar” includes any place exclusively or mainly used for the consumption of intoxicating liquor. But an area is not a bar when it is usual for it to be, and it is, set apart for the service of table meals and alcohol is only sold or supplied to persons as an ancillary to their table meals
Conditions for the Management of Premises Licensed for
Public Entertainments under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982
Part II
Indoor Sports under the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987, Part IV
1. Permitted Hours
1.1 The premises may be used for public entertainment, indoor spectator sports or entertainment of a like kind on:
a) Mondays to Fridays 10.00am - 12pm.
b) Saturdays 10.00am - 11.45pm.
) Sundays between 12 noon and 10.30pm
) New Year's Eve between 10 am and 12.30 am the following day
) Mondays - Saturdays, on any occasion when public entertainment is being provided in accordance with the hours specified in
i) an Extended Hours Order granted under Section 70 of the Licensing Act 1964
ii) a Special Hours Certificate granted under Sections 76, 77 and 78 of the Licensing Act 1964
PROVIDED that the District Council has been supplied with a copy of the relevant Order or Certificate.
f) Any occasion when public entertainment is being provided in accordance with the hours specified in a Special Order of Exemption granted under Section 74(4) of the Licensing Act 1964.
g) Any occasion when public entertainment is being provided by not more than two live performers or recorded music in accordance with Section 182 of the Licensing Act 1964.
1.2 The premises shall not be kept or used for public entertainment or indoor spectator sports or entertainment of a like kind on
) Christmas Day (except where a licence permits entertainment to extend after 12 midnight on Christmas Eve).
) At any time outside the permitted hours set out in paragraph 1.1 of these conditions without the consent of the District Council being obtained.
1.3 The licensed premises shall not be open for the purposes of public entertainment on any occasion when the licensing authority may so signify their desire in writing to the Licensee that the same should not be opened.
2. Access
All parts of the licensed premises shall be open to free ingress and inspection by:-
(a) Authorised Officers of the licensing authority.
(b) Persons authorised in writing by the licensing authority.
(c) Police Officers of the Suffolk Constabulary.
(d) Fire Officers of the Suffolk Fire Authority.
3. Alterations and Maintenance
3.1 No alterations or additions shall be made to any part of the licensed premises and the fixtures and fittings therein without the prior approval of the licensing authority.
3.2 All parts of the licensed premises, including the fixtures and fittings therein, whether fixed or otherwise, shall be kept clean and maintained in good working order.
3.3 The Fire Alarm and emergency lighting systems shall be tested monthly by the licensee to ensure that they operate effectively.
3.4 The licensee shall maintain the log book provided and ensure that it is kept at the premises and that details of tests, etc. are entered.
3.5 The licensee shall maintain public liability insurance not less than £5 million per claim.
4. Licensee's Responsibilities.
4.1 The Licensee or some responsible person nominated by him in writing shall be in charge of, and present in, the licensed premises during the whole time they are open to the public. Any such nominated person shall be provided with a copy of these licensing conditions.
4.2 The Licensee shall take all reasonable precautions for the safety of the public, performers or employees on the premises.
4.3 The numbers of persons permitted on the premises shall not exceed:

4.4 The Licensee or his nominated representative shall to the best of his ability maintain and keep order and decent behaviour on the licensed premises.
4.5 The Licensee shall not allow any lewd, obscene or indecent performance to take place on the licensed premises or allow any obscene poster, advertisement, film, photograph or programme to be displayed or shown on any part of the premises.
4.6 No exhibition, demonstration or performance of hypnotism as defined in Section 2(1a) and 5 of the Hypnotism Act 1952 shall be given by any person on the licensed premises except with the written consent of the licensing authority and in accordance with any conditions attached to such consent.
4.7 The Licensee shall ensure that Regulation 37 of the Cinematographic Safety Regulations 1955 is complied with on any occasion that the premises are used for cinematographic exhibitions.
4.8 The Licensee shall ensure that the noise level emanating from the premises remains at a reasonable level and shall comply with any requirements of the Director of Environmental Services in this respect.
4.9 The Licensee shall inform the Council, in writing, of any change of his address during the period of the licence within seven days of such change taking place.
5. Fire and Safety.
5.1 The Licensee shall ensure compliance with the fire precautions and safety measures required by the Chief Fire Officer, as set out in the attached schedule and any conditions which may from time to time be required by the Chief Fire Officer and which have been notified to the Licensee by the licensing authority.
5.2 Stewards: The minimum number of stewards present when members of the public are present shall be:
(i) up to 100 persons - 2 stewards
(ii) for each additional 50 persons or part thereof - 1 steward.
Each steward shall be readily identifiable to members of the public and shall be instructed and trained in the following:
(i) The action to be taken upon discovering a fire.
(ii) The position of the exits.
(iii) The operation and location of the emergency lighting and fire fighting equipment.
(iv) Raising the alarm and correct method of calling the Fire Brigade.
(v) Evacuation of the public in the event of an emergency.
5.3 Fire Procedure: The Fire Brigade shall be immediately called to any outbreak of fire, however slight.
5.4 Exits: All doors indicated as exits on the attached plan shall be maintained so that they open easily and fully and the following shall apply as appropriate:
a) Exit doors shall only be secured in such a manner that they can be immediately and easily opened from within.
b) Exit doors which do not open outwards shall be secured in the open position when members of the public are present.
c) Exit doors and the external routes there from shall be maintained clear and unobstructed and illuminated when members of the public are present.
d) Illuminated Exit signs and notices shall be properly maintained and free from obstruction.
5.5 Means of Escape: All parts of the premises used for means of escape in case of fire, shall be kept entirely free from obstruction, whether permanent or temporary, so as not to impede safe evacuation of the premises.
5.6 Floors and Floor Coverings, shall be properly maintained in a sound condition and possess reasonable antislip properties.
5.7 Seating: If loose chairs are used for seated audiences they shall be secured together in blocks of not less than four or more than 14 seats.
Seats shall be arranged so as to provide gangways not less than 1.1m in width which lead to and connect with exits. No seat shall be more than 3.6 metres from a gangway measured along a row of seating.
5.8 General Lighting: All parts of the premises and the external escape routes to which the public have access shall be suitably illuminated in the absence of adequate daylight at all times when members of the public are present.
5.9 Emergency Lighting: If the emergency lighting system is not designed to come on automatically in the event of failure of the mains lighting circuit it shall be switched on at all times when the public are present.
5.10 Fire Fighting Appliances: The fire fighting appliances indicated on the attached plan shall be maintained and immediately available for use.
5.11 Drapes and Decorations: All drapes, curtains or similar hangings shall be of such material or be so treated that they will not readily catch fire.
No combustible effects or decorations shall be used in the premises except by permission of the licensing authority.
5.12 Electrical Cables, flexes and other wiring must be laid in such a manner so as not to cause a hazard to those using the licensed premises.
5.13 Heating Appliances: All heating appliances shall be manufactured and installed in accordance with the appropriate British Standard and shall be properly guarded and maintained.
Portable heating appliances burning liquefied petroleum gas or fuel oil shall not be used and such fuels shall not be stored in the premises when members of the public are present.
5.14 Car Parking: No vehicles shall be parked in such as way as to restrict the means of escape provided from the premises, or prevent the safe access and egress of the emergency services.
6. Welfare and Hygiene.
6.1 Where food is cooked and/or is sold on the licensed premises the licensee shall ensure that the requirements of the Food Safety Act 1990 and the Food Hygiene (General) Regulations 1970 are complied with.
6.2 Efficient and adequate means of ventilation shall be available during the whole time the public are on the licensed premises. Where mechanical ventilation is provided this shall be maintained in a safe and satisfactory condition and detailed operating instructions shall be exhibited in a suitable prominent position.
6.3 A sufficient number of suitable receptacles with close fitting lids shall be provided to receive and store refuse from the licensed premises.
6.4 There shall be compliance with any requirements specified by the Director of Environmental Services and set out in the schedule attached to this licence and with any further reasonable requirements that from time to time may be required by the Director of Environmental Services and which have been notified to the licensee by the licensing authority.
6.5 An adequate properly equipped and maintained first aid kit shall be available at the premises at all times when the public are present.
7. General
7.1 On those occasions when disabled or handicapped persons are present on the licensed premises such special arrangements as may be necessary in the circumstances shall be made so as to ensure all persons leave the premises safely in the event of fire.
7.2 The licensing authority reserves the right under statute after the granting, renewal or transfer of the licence at any time to dispense with or modify any of these conditions, terms and restrictions and to make additional conditions, terms and restrictions as they may deem appropriate to meet the circumstances of any particular case.
7.3 Any notice or notification in writing under these conditions shall be deemed to have been served on the licensee if:-
(i) it is served upon the licensee personally
(ii) it is left or posted to the licensee at his last known address
(iii) it is left at the licensed premises.
THEATRES ACT 1968 STAGE PLAY STANDARD CONDITIONS OF LICENCE
1. EXITS.
1.1 All gangways, corridors, staircases and external passages intended for use by the public shall be maintained free from obstruction.
1.2 Whilst members of the public are present, no door used as an exit shall be fastened or secured in such a manner that it cannot be readily and immediately opened from the inside, and
(a) inward opening doors shall be secured in the open position at all times when the public are present;
(b) shall be maintained so that they can be easily and fully opened.
1.3 All floor and stair coverings shall be securely fixed in position and maintained in good condition.
1.4 Any hangings or curtains across exit doors or across gangways shall:-
(a) be made to part in the centre of each exit;
(b) hang so as to be readily drawn aside and not trail on the floor;
(c) be arranged so as not to cover notices; and
(d) have the parting edge indicated by a contrasting colour edge strip.
1.5 The nosings of all steps and stair treads shall be made conspicuous by the provision of a 50mm white strip.
2. NOTICES.
2.1 All available exits and escape routes shall be clearly indicated by signs positioned at a height of between 2m and 2.5m above the floor.
2.2 Fire safety signs and notices should conform with the relevant British Standards. Existing signs which do not meet the British Standards need not be replaced immediately if they are effectively fulfilling their purpose.
2.3 Exit signs which are constantly illuminated will be required where the lighting may be dimmed or extinguished.
2.4 A notice with the words “PUSH BAR TO OPEN” shall be permanently displayed immediately above the push bar on all doors fitted with a panic bolt.
2.5 A notice with the words “FIRE DOOR - KEEP SHUT” shall be permanently displayed at about eye level on both faces of all fire doors which are required to be self-closing.
2.6 A notice with the words “FIRE DOOR - KEEP LOCKED SHUT” shall be permanently displayed on the outside face of all fire doors not required to be self-closing eg: cupboards.
2.7 A notice with the words “FIRE ESCAPE - KEEP CLEAR” shall be permanently displayed at about eye level on the external face of all doors which are provided solely as a means of escape in the case of fire and which, because they are not normally used, are liable to be obstructed.
3. NORMAL AND ESCAPE LIGHTING.
3.1 All public access and internal and external exitways from the premises shall be provided with both normal and escape lighting. Both systems must be capable of providing adequate levels of illumination to allow persons to leave the premises safely.
3.2 All escape lighting installations shall be installed and maintained in accordance with the relevant British Standard.
3.3 All exit and directional signs shall be illuminated by both the normal and escape lighting at all times when the public are present.
4. MEANS FOR GIVING WARNING IN CASE OF FIRE.
4.1 A fire alarm system should be installed and maintained to comply with the relevant British Standard. The type of fire alarm system required must be agreed with the Licensing Authority.
5. SEATING ARRANGEMENTS.
5.1 Seating and gangways in the auditorium or hall shall be so arranged as to allow free and ready access direct to the exits.
5.2 No portion of any gangway should normally be more than 18m from an exit from the auditorium or shall measured along the line of the gangway.
5.3 In those parts of the auditorium or hall where escape is available in one direction only, no portion of any gangway should be more than 7.5m from that exit measured along the line of the gangway.
5.4 A clear access route to all seats of at least 305mm shall be maintained between adjacent rows of seats.
5.5 Gangways should be of adequate width for the number of seats served but shall not be less than 1.05m.
6. FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT.
6.1 Adequate and appropriate means for fire fighting shall be provided and maintained for use by persons in the building.
7. STAGE.
7.1 The stage should be constructed and arranged so as to minimise the risk of fire.
7.2 The platform or stage shall not be congested with scenery or props and the exits leading from the stage shall be maintained free from obstruction.
7.3 All scenery and drapes shall be maintained flame retardant. Valid certificates of treatment may be required by the Licensing Authority.
8. ATTENDANTS.
8.1 Competent attendants shall be on duty during the whole time that the public are on the premises. These attendants shall be specifically instructed as to their responsibilities in the event of fire and other emergency. Account should be taken of the additional responsibility caused by the attendance of persons with disabilities.
8.2 The primary duty of attendants is to ensure that safe conditions are maintained in the premises and to achieve this, they should:-
(a) ensure that no overcrowding occurs in any part of the premises;
(b) keep all gangways and exits clear at all times;
(c) prevent standing on seats or furniture; and
(d) be aware of any special requirements to ensure the safe evacuation of the public.
8.3 Attendants shall be readily identifiable to the public by means of some conspicuous clothing or marking system which is visible under all lighting conditions.
8.4 The number of attendants on duty on the premises shall be not less than 1 for every 250, or part of 250 persons present; and
(a) if the number of persons on the floor or tier is less than 100, there should be at least 1 additional attendant on duty on that floor or tier;
(b) if the number of persons present on any floor or tier exceeds 100 there should be at least 2 additional attendants on duty on that floor or tier.
9. GENERAL FIRE PRECAUTIONS
9.1 No vehicles shall be parked so as to obstruct exits from the premises.
9.2 In the event of fire, the Fire Service shall be called immediately.
9.3 No naked flame shall be used on the stage without the permission of the Licensing Authority.
9.4 Portable heating appliances shall not be used in the premises whilst members of the public are present.
General
1. The head lease between Aldeburgh Music Endowment Fund and the freeholder prohibits events with licensable activities being held in the Hoffmann building within 2 hours of a concert held in the main Snape Maltings Concert Hall.
2. The head lease between Aldeburgh Music Endowment Fund and the freeholder limits the number of daytime public concerts to 20 within a calendar year.
For outdoor events and performances on the Henry Moore lawn:
1. An event safety plan will be produced for outdoor events held on the Henry Moore Lawn, including safety measures relating to any temporary demountable structures (TDSs).
2. A duty manager will be present for all outdoor events on the Henry Moore Lawn.
3. The licensee will employ a competent front of house manager and a minimum of two stewards for the first 100 audience member, and thereafter one steward for every 50 audience members. The stewards will be easily identifiable to the public, all performers and staff.
4. Generally events will be held in the afternoon and early evening. The regular performance time during the summer of 2021 will be 18:00 - 19:15.
5. Food and late night refreshments are available in other parts of the site at all times whilst outdoor performances are taking place on the Henry Moore Lawn.
6. The proposed licenced capacity for events on the Henry Moore Lawn is 275 including audience, staff and performers.
Crime and Disorder
1. The Licensee will ensure that the premises is adequately supervised at all times it is open to the general public by fully trained member(s) of staff.
2. Plastic containers and toughened glass will be used to serve drinks in association with events scheduled to take place outside on the Hepworth Lawn.
3. All members of staff at the premises will seek PASS accredited proof of age cards, photo-driving licences or passports as proof of age evidence from any person who appears to be under the age of 18 and who is seeking to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises.
For outdoor events and performances on the Henry Moore lawn:
1. The area is covered by CCTV cameras. Any incident shall be reported to the police immediately.
2. Events would have a maximum capacity of 275. Stewards will ensure that these numbers are not exceeded.
Public Safety
1 Escape routes and exits, including external exits will be maintained as follows:
· Exits will be kept unobstructed, in good order with non-slippery and even surfaces, free from trip hazards and clearly identified.
· All exit doors will be easily openable without the use of a key, card, code or similar means.
· Doors at such exits will be regularly checked to ensure that they function satisfactorily and a record of the check is kept.
· Any removable security fastenings will be removed whenever the premises are open to the public or occupied by staff.
· All fire doors will be maintained effectively self-closing and not held open other than by approved devices (for example, electromagnetic releases operated by smoke detectors).
· Fire resisting doors to ducts, service shafts, and cupboards will be kept locked shut.
· The edges of the treads of steps and stairways will be maintained so as to be conspicuous.
· In restaurants and other premises, where chairs and tables are provided, internal.
2 Safety checks will be carried out before the admission of the public or club members and guests and details of such checks will be kept in a Log-book.
3 Hangings, curtains and temporary decorations will be maintained in a flame-retardant condition.
4 Any upholstered seating will meet on a continuous basis the pass criteria for smouldering ignition source 0, flaming ignition source 1 and crib ignition source 5 when tested in accordance with section 5 of Bs 5852:1990.
5 Hangings, curtains and temporary decorations will be arranged so as not to obstruct exits, fire safety signs or fire-fighting equipment.
6 Temporary decorations will not be used without prior notification to the licensing authority/fire authority.
7 The license holder, a club official, manager or designated premises supervisor will be aware of the number of people on the premises and will provide this information to any authorised person on request.
8 Notices detailing the action to be taken in the event of fire or other emergencies, including how the fire brigade should be summoned, will be prominently displayed and protected from damage and deterioration.
9 Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems will not be provided without competent persons to undertake the work.
10 Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems will comply with the recommendations of BS 7671 or where applicable BS 7909.
11 Where temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems have not been installed by a competent person, they will be inspected and certified by a competent person before they are put to use.
12 The fire authority will be consulted on the use of special effects and at least 7 days notification will be given to the Licensing Authority of intended use.
13 The fire brigade will be called at once to any outbreak of fire, however slight, and the details recorded in a Fire Log-book.
14 The local Fire Control Centre will be notified as soon as possible if the water supply to any hydrant, hose reel, sprinkler, drencher or other fire extinguishing installation is cut off or restricted.
15 Access for emergency vehicles will kept clear and free from obstruction.
16 Adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials will be available on the premises.
17 One suitably trained first-aider will be on duty when the public are present; and if more than one suitably trained first-aider is on duty when the public are present and their respective duties will be clearly defined.
18 In the absence of adequate daylight, the lighting in any area accessible to the public, members or guests will be in full operation when they are present.
19 Fire safety signs will be adequately illuminated.
20 Emergency lighting will not be altered with prior notification to the Licensing Authority.
21 Emergency lighting batteries will be fully charged before the admission of the public, members or guests.
22 In the event of the failure of normal lighting, where the emergency lighting battery has a capacity of one hour, arrangements will be in place to ensure that the public, members or guests leave the premises within 20 minutes unless, within that time, normal lighting has been restored and the battery is being re-charged; and, if the emergency lighting battery has a capacity of three hours the appropriate period by the end of which the public should have left the premises is one hour.
23 The following systems will be maintained and inspected by suitably qualified professional persons in accordance with any British Standards and at intervals recommended in national guidance. Records of such inspections should be kept and made available for inspection by authorised officers on request:
· Building Electrical Installation
· Emergency Lighting System
· Fire Warning System
· Gas boiler, calorifier or appliance
· Oil fired boiler or appliance
· Suspended ceilings
· Portable fire fighting equipment
· Temporary Electrical Installation
For outdoor events and performances on the Henry Moore lawn:
1. A medical staffing plan will be drawn up for outdoor events using the Henry Moore Lawn. A minimum of two qualified first aiders will attend events on the Henry Moore Lawn, with roles clearly defined.
2. As the audience is likely to be exposed to the elements, an extreme weather plan will be created for all outdoor events held on the Henry Moore Lawn.
3. A full Fire Risk Assessment will be carried out for all events on the Henry Moore Lawn, with recommendations implemented.
4. As the audience is not enclosed, there are clear escape route to the assembly point on the Hepworth Lawn. Fire drills will be rehearsed regularly and Fire safety signs will be adequately illuminated.
5. In the absence of adequate daylight, suitable and sufficient artificial lighting will be provided and maintained in any area accessible to the public.
6. If loose seating is provided, it will be provided in secured banks of 4 and 14 seats.
7. Toilets, sanitary and welfare facilities will be available in the nearby Concert Hall foyer.
8. Events using the Henry Moore Lawn will be planned to segregate pedestrians and vehicles. Where necessary, suitable crowd barriers and fencing will be used.
9. Water will be made available to staff, performers and audience during hot weather.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
24 The outdoor performance of regulated entertainment and the outdoor provision of entertainment facilities shall be restricted to the area of Snape Maltings site known as the Hepworth Lawn and also the Henry Moore Lawn.
25 All forms of regulated entertainment shall be strictly controlled so that noise and vibration levels are non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties.
26 Prominent, clear and legible notices will be displayed at all exits requesting the public respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
27 Flashing or bright lights on or outside the licensed premises shall not be intrusive to nearby properties.
28 Non standard timings until 01:00 shall only be for pre-booked weddings and a maximum of 12 late night performances per year.
For outdoor events and performances on the Henry Moore lawn:
1. The majority of outdoor performances on the Henry Moore Lawn will finish by 19:30.
2. The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 will be adhered to at all events held on the Henry Moore Lawn to protect employees, performers and audiences.
3. Sound and vibration levels at the nearest residential property will be carefully monitored by a competent person.
4. A noise management action plan will be put in place.
5. A waste management plan will be in place to avoid the build up of hazardous or combustible materials.
6. Residential neighbours and local businesses will be provided with the performance in advance.
7. All audience members will be reminded before and after performances to be respectful of neighbours.
8. If necessary, the number of outdoor amplified music performances on the Henry Moore Lawn could be limited to 40 in one calendar Year.
9. Staff will carry out twice daily litter picks of the Henry Moore Lawn.
Protection of children from harm
1. The Licensee will provide sufficient staff with appropriate training who are able to deal with children who may be on the premises.
2. The Licensee will ensure members of staff sign self-disclosure forms and key members of staff will be CRB checked.
3. All members of staff at the premises will seek ‘credible’ photographic proof of age evidence from any person who appears to be under the age of 18 and who is seeking to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises.
4. The Licensee will ensure that children under the age of 10 are accompanied at all times by an adult while they are on the premises.
For outdoor events and performances on the Henry Moore lawn:
1. The licensee will maintain a safeguarding policy for children and vulnerable adults, which includes the creation of a lost children meeting point.
2. The 2021 music programme is intended to be inclusive and family friendly.
3. Two qualified first aiders would attend each outdoor amplified performance.
4. The capacity of events held on the Henry Moore Lawn would be limited to 275 including staff, performers and audience to reduce the risk of overcrowding.
5. Children will be accounted for at all times in the case of an evacuation or emergency.
6. In accordance with the licensee’s safeguarding policy, child performers will be kept under adult supervision at all times including transfer from stage to dressing room and anywhere else on the premises.
7. The licensee will not allow and lewd or indecent imagery or content to be presented during a performance on the Henry Moore Lawn.
