Annex 2 - Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule
General Conditions
Crime and Disorder
1 The Licensee will ensure that the installed five camera digital storage CCTV system monitoring the peripheral of the building is maintained in full working condition. In addition the Licensee will ensure that images are retained for at least the minimum duration that the technology permits and will be made available for inspection by an authorised officer on request.
2 The Licensee will ensure that the internal intruder alarm system is maintained in a fully working condition and a log kept of testing and maintenance.
Public Safety
3 The Licensee will ensure that regular health & safety meetings are held and regular risk assessments undertaken, and that appropriate steps are taken to resolve any problems identified.
4 The Licensee will ensure that an adequate and valid public liability insurance is in force and that a copy of the schedule is available for inspection by an authorised officer on request.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
5 The Licensee will provide and maintain signage on the premises requesting that patrons leave the area quietly.
6 The Licensee will ensure the volume of the amplification system for any description of musical entertainment shall be strictly controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties. Electronic monitoring equipment will be fitted and maintained to monitor sound levels and cut electrical power to amplification systems in the event of the threshold being exceeded.
7 A responsible person shall monitor the music levels outside the building and implement any changes to reduce the noise levels in accordance with any request by an authorised officer of the Council immediately and ensure that volume is maintained at the reduced level.
Protection of children from harm
8 The Licensee will ensure that children under the age of 16 are accompanied at all times by an adult while they are on the premises.
9 The Licensee will ensure that hirers of the hall state on the hiring contract form the type of activities they intend to carry out during the period of hire.
3. The Licensee will ensure that the premises will not be hired out to any person/body/club for any use which may give rise to concern in respect of children.
