Annex 2 - Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule
General Conditions
The premises will be managed in accordance with Club rules.
Conditions imposed by The Licensing Act 1964.
1. Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
In this condition, permitted hours means:
) On weekdays, other than Christmas Day, Good Friday or New Year’s Eve,
10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
) On Sundays, other than Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve,
12 noon to 10.30 p.m.
) On Good Friday, 12 noon to 10.30 p.m.
) On New Year’s Eve, except on a Sunday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
) On New Year’s Eve on a Sunday, 12 noon to 10.30 p.m.
) On Christmas day, as provided by the rules of the club and notified in writing by the chairman or secretary of the club to the chief executive of the justices for the petty sessions area in which the premises are. The said hours shall:
i) not exceed six and a half hours;
ii) not begin earlier than 12 noon;
iii) not end later than 10.30 p.m.
iv) provide for a break of at least 2 hours, including 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.;
v) not extend for more than three and a half hours after 5 p.m.
g) On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December).
2. The above restrictions do not prohibit:
) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the consumption of the alcohol on the premises;
) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
) during the first thirty minutes after the above hours, the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied as ancillary to the meals;
) the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing.
NB: A person shall be treated as residing in any premises, notwithstanding that he occupies sleeping accommodation in a separate building, if he is provided with that accommodation in the course of a business of providing board and lodging for reward at those premises and the building is habitually used for the purpose by way of annexe or overflow in connection with those premises and is occupied and managed with those premises.

2 Only members and their bona fide guests will be permitted entry to the premises.
3 There will be no entry or re-entry to the premises after 23.00 hrs.
4 There will be no consumption of alcohol outside the premises after 22.30hrs
5 A 30 minute winding down period will be implemented after the end of the sale and supply of alcohol on each day of the week.
Crime and Disorder
6 The Licensee will ensure that bar staff do not service alcohol to anyone who appears intoxicated.
Public Safety
7 The Licensee will ensure that an adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials are available on the premises.
8 The Licensee will ensure that all exits and escape routes are clearly identified, kept free from obstruction and available for immediate use in the event of an emergency during licensable activities.
9 The Licensee will ensure that the maximum permitted number of persons on the premise will not exceed 150.
10 The Licensee shall ensure that after 23:30 hours all external doors and windows must be kept closed, other than for access and egress.
11 The Licensee shall ensure that the volume of the amplification system shall be strictly controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at nearby residential properties.
12 A responsible person shall monitor the music levels outside the building, and implement any changes in noise levels in accordance with any request by an authorised officer of the Council immediately and ensure that volume is maintained at the reduced levels.
13 In the event that additional ventilation is installed within the Community Centre, the proposed scheme shall be submitted to the Head of Health, and only a scheme approved by the Head of Health shall be installed at the premises and maintained in the approved form thereafter.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
14 The Licensee will ensure that adequate steps are in place (e.g. signage and/or sufficient staff on site) to ensure that customers leave the premises quietly.
Protection of Children from Harm
1. The Licensee will ensure that children are accompanied at all times by an adult while they are on the premises.
