The public can access the site between 08:00 at the earliest and 1 hour after the latest licensable activity ends.

The hours that have been applied for allows for 1 hour 'drinking up' time to facilitate a gradual and controlled departure from the venue and in accordance with our traffic management policy.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturdays we would wish the finish times to be 03:00hrs to coincide with the licensable activities applied for in this application.  Taking into consideration the 1 hour 'drinking up' time facility, this would only relate to events taking place indoors and from the Trinity Rooms and The Conference & Events Centre.  In all instances the premises opening hours will be controlled by the current planning consent until such a time a new planning consent is granted and in accordance with our noise management policy.

 

On the occasion of the Suffolk Show Ball which takes place once every 3 years, in a marquee, hours open to the public may continue until 01:00.

B. Exhibition of films (Indoors & Outdoors)

The timings will vary according to the event and will generally take place indoors, however it is possible that during the summer a play may be performed, or a film shown, outside and this will cease not later than 22.00hrs.

management policy.

C. Indoor sporting event

E. Performance of live music (Indoors & Outdoors)

Outdoors

Generally, all live amplified music will take place indoors in connection with Balls/Dinners and other similar 

events/functions.  It is possible that outdoor concerts will be held at the venue.  These will be family orientated events and music will cease not later than 22.00hrs. During the months of July and August each year music will cease no later than 23:00  The type of music envisaged is classical, tribute bands etc (not pop concerts) and the audience will be less than 5,000.

 

Indoors

On Thursday, Friday & Saturdays live music may continue indoors in connection with Dinner Dances, Balls or similar events/functions and New Years Eve (on whichever day it falls) until 02.00hrs.  This extension would only apply to the Trinity Rooms & The Conference & Events Centre

 

On the occasion of the Suffolk Show Ball which takes place once every 3 years, in a marquee, live music may continue until 01:00.

F. Playing of recorded music (Indoors & Outdoors)

Non Standard Timings:

Outdoors

Generally, recorded music will take place indoors in connection with Balls/Dinners and other similar 

events/functions.  It is possible that recorded music will be provided in connection with horse shows (dressage/musical rides etc) or other similar functions/events such as circuses/stunt shows etc. Recorded music outside or from a marquee structure would cease not later than 21.30hrs except for during the months of July and August each year when music will cease no later than 23:00.

 

Indoors

On Thursday, Friday & Saturdays live music may continue indoors in connection with Dinner Dances, Balls or similar events/functions and New Years Eve (on whichever day it falls) until 02.00hrs.  This extension would only apply to the Trinity Rooms & The Conference & Events Centre.

All events using recorded music as entertainment will do in accordance with our current planning consent unit such time a new planning consent is granted and in accordance with the noise management policy.

G. Performance of dance (Indoors & Outdoors)

Outdoors

Generally, performance of dance will take place indoors in connection with Balls/Dinners and other similar 

events/functions.  It is possible that performance of dance could be provided as entertainmant in connection with County shows (similar to the Suffolk Show) or other similar functions/events such as circuses/summer concerts etc. The performance of dance outside or from a marquee structure would cease not later than 21.30hrs.

 

Indoors

On Thursday, Friday & Saturdays live music may continue indoors in connection with Dinner Dances, Balls or similar events/functions and New Years Eve (on whichever day it falls) until 02.00hrs.  This extension would only apply to the Trinity Rooms & The Conference & Events Centre

All events using recorded music as entertainment will do in accordance with our current planning consent unit such time a new planning consent is granted and in accordance with the noise management policy.

H. Entertainment of a similar description to that falling within E, F, or G (Indoors & Outdoors)

Outdoors

Generally these events are of a family nature and provide family entertainment that will take place during the day or early evening.  The activity/performance of such events that take place outside or from a marquee structure would cease not later than 21.30hrs.  All other activities/entertainment such as casino/race nights that form part of the day/evening entertainment for that event/function would take place indoors.

 

Indoors

On Thursday, Friday & Saturdays there may be the demand to carry out some activity/entertainment that falls into the ‘catch all’ area for example casino/race nights/sporting(satellite events) in connection with Dinners, Charity Events, Balls or similar events/functions and New Years Eve (on whichever day it falls) until 02:00hrs. This extension would only apply to the Trinity Rooms & The Conference & Events Centre.

Any such activity will be carried out in accordance with our current planning consent until such time

a new planning consent is granted and in accordance with the noise management policy.

I. Late night refreshment (Indoors)

The sale of alcohol will be carried out in accordance with our current planning consent until such time

a new planning consent is granted and in accordance with the noise management policy
