• Annex 1 - Mandatory Conditions

   

  EXHIBITION OF FILMS

   

  1)      Where a premises licence authorises the exhibition of films, the licence must include a condition requiring the admission of children to the exhibition of any film to be restricted in accordance with this section -

   

  2)      Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, unless subsection (3)(b) applies, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that body.

   

  3)      Where -

   

  )          the film classification body is not specified in the licence, or

  )          the relevant licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this subsection applies to the film in question, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that licensing authority.

   

  4)    In this section -

               

    “children” means persons aged under 18; and

  “film classification body” means the person or persons designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984 (c.39) (authority to determine suitability of video works for classification).

   

• Annex 2 - Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule

   

  General Conditions

   

  1         The Licensee will ensure that an adequate and valid public liability insurance is in force and that a copy of the schedule is available for inspection by an authorised officer on request.

   

  Crime and Disorder

   

  2         The Licensee will liaise with the Police in advance of events taking place.

   

  Public Safety

   

  3      The Licensee will comply with any fire safety requirements requested by the Fire Officer.

   

  Prevention of Public Nuisance

   

  4      The permitted entertainment outdoors shall only be allowed on 5 nights in any one Calendar year, and all such events shall finish no later than 23:00 hours on any night of the week.

   

  5      The volume of the amplification system for any description of musical Entertainment shall be strictly controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties.

   

  6      A responsible person shall monitor the music levels outside the building, and implement any changes to reduce the noise levels in accordance with any request by an authorised officer of the Council immediately and ensure that volume is maintained at the reduced level.

   

  Protection of children from harm

   

  1.  The Licensee will ensure that children not accompanied by an adult are supervised at all times by at least two adults while they are on the premises.
