Annex 2 - Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule
General Conditions
Crime and Disorder
1. The licensee will closely liaise with the police from the early planning stage of the event through to its conclusion.
2. The licensee will implement all measures agreed with the police relating to the prevention of crime and disorder.
Public Safety
1. The licensee will ensure that an adequate and valid public liability insurance is in force and that a copy of the schedule is made available for inspection by an authorised officer.
2. The licensee will implement all measures agreed with the police relating to public safety.
3. The licensee will ensure that the St John Ambulance Brigade (or similar provider) are present during the event to provide first aid cover.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. All performances of any description of regulated entertainment shall only take place in connection with and event organised and managed by the Aldeburgh Olde Marine Regatta and Carnival Committee or such other organisation or persons that the carnival committee agree to sub-let the premises licence to.
2. The performance of any description of regulated entertainment organised under the terms of the premise licence shall take place on not more that 7 days in any one calendar year.
3. All mobile generators used by traders or in connection with the performance of any description of regulated entertainment shall be sited such that the noise emitted from them does not cause disturbance to occupiers of nearby residential properties.
4. All mobile generators used by traders or in connection with the performance of any description of regulated entertainment shall wherever possible be connected to mains electricity supply
5. The licensee shall ensure that vendors cease use of generators by 00.00 hours
6. The licensee shall ensure that arrangements are made with either the local authority or some other waste disposal agency for the clearance of any rubbish generated by the event.
Protection of children from harm
1. The event is family orientated and no additional measures have been identified in relation to this objective; however the Carnival Committee would not allow this licence to be used for any other event unless it was satisfied that this objective was met
