ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
The prevention of crime and disorder
1. The licence holder shall ensure that notices are displayed alerting users of the importance of personal security (e.g. ensuring vehicles are locked and valuables hidden) and the security of the premises (e.g. securing all doors and windows on departing the building).
2. The licence holder shall ensure that disorderly behaviour on the premises is not tolerated.
Public safety
1. The licence holder shall ensure that an incident log will be maintained at the premises to record all incidents. The entry for each incident will be entered into the register within one hour of the incident taking place and will show the date, time and a description of the incident. Each entry will be kept in the register for a minimum of 12 months and must be made available for inspection by an authorised officer of the local authority or an authorised member of Suffolk Constabulary immediately upon request.
The prevention of public nuisance
1. The licence holder shall display clear and legible notices requesting patrons to respect nearby residents and leave the premises quietly.
2. External Lighting shall be switched off automatically when the premises are not in use or after 23:00 so as not to cause a disturbance to nearby residents.
3. The licence holder shall ensure that all external windows and doors are kept shut after 22:00 other than for ingress and egress.
4. The licence holder shall ensure that hirers will not leave litter after using the premises.
The protection of children from harm
1. The Licence holder shall ensure that hirers of the building shall not leave children under 15 years of age unsupervised on the premises.
2. The licence holder shall implement the 'Challenge 25' scheme; ensuring prominent signage is displayed throughout the premises. The Licence Holder shall ensure that any person selling or supplying alcohol at the premises, asks for photographic proof of ID document where they have reason to suspect that the individual may be less than 25 years of age.
