Annex 2 - Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule
General Conditions
1. All user groups and hirers are regularly reminded of their legal responsibilities and their responsibilities to the community.
Crime and Disorder
1. User groups and hirers advised of their responsibilities to the neighbourhood
Public Safety
1 The management committee have regular Health and Safety and Fire checks.
2 Gas and electrics are regularly tested.
3 All escape routes are kept clear at all times.
4 The premises are limited to a number of 200 persons
Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. The volume of music from any description of musical entertainment shall be strictly controlled so that the noise levels are non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties.
2. All external windows and doors to the premises, shall be kept closed, other than for access and egress, at all times when regulated entertainment is taking place.
3. The licensee will provide and maintain signage near the external areas of the premises requesting that customers keep noise to a minimum and leave the premises quietly to prevent disturbance to local residents.
4. Inform user groups and hirers of their responsibilities to the community.
5. Monitor and remain sensitive to local residents feelings.
6. All refuse removed from the premises.
Protection of children from harm
5 Hall user groups and hirers conform to Young Persons Regulations 1997 and conform to procedures for CRB checks.
2. Children to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
