Annex 2 - General Conditions
General - all four licensing objectives (b,c,d,e)
The prevention of crime and disorder
1. The Licensee will ensure that 4 stewards will be named on each booking form.
2. The Licensee will ensure that at all times when the premises is open for any licensable
activity there will be responsible adults at the premises for the purpose of
fulfilling the terms and conditions of the Licence and for preventing crime and disorder.
Public Safety
1. The Licensee will ensure that fire extinguishers and smoke alarms are installed within the
building and maintained in good working order.
2. The Licensee will ensure that the outer doors of the premises must be firmly closed once
members of the public are in the hall.
The prevention of public nuisance
1. The volume of the amplification system used in connection with any description of regulated
entertainment shall be controlled such that noise levels are non-intrusive at the boundary of
any nearby residential property.
2. The external doors and windows to those parts of the premises used for the provision of
regulated entertainment shall be kept closed, other than for routine access and egress,
after 22:00 whenever there are performances of live music and when amplified recorded
music is being played.
3. The Licensee will ensure stewards will remain on the premises until all customers have left,
to oversee safe, orderly and quiet departure.
4. The Licensee will ensure that hirers must sign to say that they are responsible for guests at
all times.
The protection of children from harm
1. The Licensee will ensure that no party bookings will be taken for the age group 13-21.
2. The Licensee will ensure that children will be supervised at all times whilst on the premises
